Problem of wood pellets is usually their transport. During transport from the producer through a supplier to the consumer leads to degradation of wood pellets and increased formation of fine material. One of the ways to produce wood pellets with higher quality is using of additives. In this work is presented using of concentrate of organic compounds from defibration as additive to increase the quality and resistance of wood pellets. The paper presents impact of various amounts addition of concentrate of organic compounds from defibration to quality of wood pellets. There is analysis of impact of addition of concentrate of organic compounds from defibration to abrasion resistance of wood pellets. There is also presented another quality parameter and it is disintegration time of pellets in the water test. Consequently, to determine the influence of different amounts of concentrate of organic compounds from defibration addition to other properties of wood pellets and they are moisture content, amount of ash and density. Measured results confirm the positive effect of concentrate of organic compounds from defibration on the quality of wood pellets. V predkladanom príspevku je práve analyzovaný vplyv pridávania koncentrátu organických látok z defibrácie v množstve 1–10 hm. % do smrekových pilín bez kôry na kvalitu drevných peliet. Cieľom príspevku je prezentácia výsledkov porovnania vlastností drevných peliet pri využití koncentrátu organických látok z defibrácie ako aditíva za účelom modifikácie niektorých vlastností drevných peliet s prioritou zvýšenia ich kvality.
