The proportion of dust fractions with a dimension of ≤ 0.08 mm was determined by a sieve analysis. The percentage of these proportions is similar for natural wood and wood treated at the temperature of 160 °C, 180 °C and 2 00 °C. Significantly lower proportion of dust fractions with dimensions of ≤ 0.08 mm occurred at a temperature of 220 °C in all examined samples. The fact that the main factor causing the drop of the dust fraction with a dimension of ≤ 0.08 mm at 220 °C is the reduction in wood density is assumed. 463 -1
