The fiber facilities are changed in the recycling and ageing process, what influences papers quality consenquently. In this paper was followed the influence of the quadruple recycling and simulated ageing on selected characteristics of the bleached kraft pulps (breaking length, index tearing, brightness, colourity, pH-value of the sheets surface, polymerization degree, alphacellulose). Influence of the recycling on the stated characteristics was lower than the influence of the accelerated ageing (150 °C, 24 hours). Recycling and ageing had the least effect on he mechanical characteristics and alphacellulose. Influence of the ageing after recycling proved markedly negative. Brightness decreased almost about 12 %, pH-value of the sheets surface about 10.2 % and polymerization degree about 18.6 %.
