[et al.] 215 $c Obr., tab. 320 $a Lit. 330 $a This paper investigates the influence of external heat radiation on the burning of oriented strand board (OSB). The experiments were performed by using a cone calorimeter. Five different heat fluxes were used to stain the samples: 20 kW·m‒2, 30 kW·m‒2, 40 kW·m‒2, 50 kW·m‒2 and 60 kW·m‒2. Time to ignition, heat release rate, mass loss and smoke production rate was measured at each heat flux. The obtained data showed that the ignition time of samples was decreased exponentially with increasing heat flux density. The theoretic critical heat flux was calculated to 16.72 kW·m‒2 and the critical heat flux at 30 minutes was 17.53 kW·m‒2. The curves of heat release rate and smoke production rate contained two peaks: the first was detected shortly after the ignition and the second was detected before flameout. The maximum values of heat release rate were in the range from 195.68 kW·m‒2 to 235.80 kW·m‒2 and the maximum values of smoke production rate were between 84.51 cm2.s-1 and 253.95 cm2·s‒1. After the test, the residue of samples was 4.76 % ‒ 14.63 % of samples weight, depending on external heat flux. 330 $a Cieľom tejto práce je posúdiť vplyv hustoty tepelného toku na základné charakteristiky popisujúce iniciáciu horenia OSB ako aj jeho ďalší termický rozklad vo vzduchu. 463 -1
