Mathematical description of the latent heat of bound water in wood during freezing and defrosting

[et al.]. -- Graf., obr. -- Lit. - Some basic characteristics and terms of the specific latent heat of crystallization of the water in wood and of melting theice formed by it are presented in the paper. The change in the temperature of ice and water during their heating and cooling occurred in the phase transitions were described and analyzed. Using data from the specialized literature a mathematical description of the specific latent heat of crystallization and melting the bound water in wood were suggested. Based on that description, an update of an available equation for the specific heat capacity of the frozen bound water in wood above the hygroscopic range was carried out. The information about the specific latent heat and specific heat capacity of the water in wood materials is needed for computing the non-stationary temperature distribution and energy consumption during their thermal treatment, and also for the model based automatic control of that treatment.
