Loučanová, Erika, 1980- Identification of customers' drivers for the wood building as an ecological innovation in building construction in Slovakia / Erika Loučanová, Miriam Olšiaková. -- Obr., tab. -- Lit. - Sustainable development became a discussed issue and its main idea is to find out how to satisfy present needs without compromising the capacity of future generations, guaranteeing the social well-being, balance among economic growth, and care for the environment.The building industry as one of the industries trying to fulfi lthe consumer demands connected with environmental and health requirements is presented in this paper. It deals with the importance of innovation in the building construction materials for sustainability focusing on wood structures representing eco-innovation and an alternative to silicate building materials in this context. A comparison of conventional building materials and innovated alternative ecological option used in the building construction (wood-framed house) is given in the paper. The primary method for assessing the perception of these options was the Kano model. Subsequently, the customers ́ drivers for wooden structures in Slovakia were identified by methods such as correlation matrix and force field of innovation.
