    AnnotationCieľom príspevku je charakterizovať, vysvetliť základné pojmy týkajúce sa problematiky bilingvizmu a podať všeobecnú charakteristiku reči slovensko-maďarských bilingvistov v okrese Veľký Krtíš. Resumé: In the context of Slovak-Hungarian bilinguism at the territory with multiple nationalities we base on the research of verbal communication using the method of survey of the researched target group - the indigenous inhabitants of Velky Krtis district and the immigrants - considering the age, education and social classification. The work does not deal with the systemic and structural analyze of the bilinguists’ spoken communicates, nor explains the question of intralingual and interlingual communication in detail from the view of description of various transference phenomena, but it offers opinions including general characteristic of the Slovak-Hungarian bilinguists’ language in Velky Krtis district, the classification of the Slovak-Hungarian bilinguists into particular groups on the base of different types of bilinguism, and the bilingual family types rising in the district.
