| 330 | | $a The main focus of the study is the qualitative inter-lingual confrontation of phraseological units within language for specific purposes. We have directed our attention to formal and structural aspect, more specifically to the qualitative viewpoint of equivalents of binary phrases and phrasal idioms between Spanish, as the source language, and Slovak, as the target language, which contain the adjective virtual (Spanish) – virtuálny (Slovak). The study is based on the Multilingual terminological database IATE, which provided us with relevant material for the performed analysis. Within the analysis, we observed motivation, metaphor, components of equivalents of the phrase, as well as the equivalents themselves in both compared languages. Besides Spanish and Slovak, in some cases, we also compared the LSP phrases with their English equivalents. |
