Radvaň (Banská Bystrica, Slovensko) Language Slovak Country Slovak Republic systematics 58 Annotation There is almost absent a botanical research of the forests of the secondary origine in Slovakia. An attention is led especially to the herbaceous and arboreous layers, the bryophytes are monitored only exceptionally. In this paper there are presented the results of the research of the bryophytes in the secondary forests in the broader surroundings of the town of Banská Bystrica (middle Slovakia). In 57 localities with various types of subsoil there were found 41 species of bryophytes (38 mosses and 3 liverworts). Most of them represent common species distributed in whole Slovakia.
