AnnotationThe non-military aspects of security are as old as the society itself, but its importance was highlighted just after the Cold War, then we can easily demonstrate the position and effects of non-military threats and its implications on politics and society of mentioned era. Today, the non-military threats are present in every single country and at every single problem we are aware of. Each author has his own list of known non-military threats, which are mostly typical for specific region of his study, but the vast majority of the threats are the same around the globe. This paper is offering a short introduction to the topic and a case study of two very important regions of these days, Persian Gulf and Eastern Europe
