Šumava Language English Country Germany systematics 595.771 Annotation Chironomidae species were recorded for the first time in Czech Republic: Corynoneura lobata, Cricotopus (Cricotopus) pulchripes, Krenosmittia boreoalpina, Limnophyes gurgicola, Parakiefferiella bathophila, Paraphaenocladius pseudirritus, Pseudorthocladius filiformis, Tvetenia calvescens, Micropsectra atrofasciata, Micropsectra fusca, Tanytarsus curticornis. Individuals of all species were collected from five glacial lakes of the Bohemian Forest (Šumava, Böhmerwald), their inlets and outlets. Notes on distribution and ecology are presented.
