In the paper, the phrase “written- down texts“ (J. Labocha) is being applied as a non-terminological denomination for code-integrated texts with obvious signs of their appertaining to the oral communication sphere, but with preparation, expedition, perception and usage in (printed, graphic, visual or visualised) written communication. The study contours the location, limitations, and possible theoretical and methodological inspirations of stratification concepts and models for communication research in the environment with mixed (phonic and visual) characteristics.
