Záhorie (Slovensko : región) Language Slovak Country Slovak Republic systematics 58 Annotation The paper is aimed to provide information about the discovery of five new microlocations of critically endangered species Lycopodiella inundata in the Borská nížina Lowland (W Slovakia). Those new five micro-populations ocupy plots on bare, wet sand in heterogenous pioneer vegetation. Those stands were developed after cutting of Alnus glutinosa forest on fen. All populations of the species were numerous and prosperous at the time of finding. However, it is assumed that due to further overgrowing and shading of bare spots by self-seeding trees here, Lycopodiella inundata will disappear gradually. We assumed the possibility to find other micro-populations of Lycopodiella inundata in places after forest extraction and subsequent stripping of sandy substrate.
