AnnotationThe main aim of this article is to point out to phenomenon of environmental refugees seen as a result of environmental degradation and climate change affecting human migration. Uncertainty about definition of the core terms introduces a vivid debate into the academic sphere that deals with the merit, importance and even existence of this concept. Neither the most important refugee agency UNHCR does not include potential environmental refugees under its protection embodied in Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees from 1951 and Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees from 1967. There exist wide spectra of objectives that have to be fulfilled to deal with this open call.
