AnnotationThe goal of this work was to compare and find out the impact of specific dual focus of concentration known in karate movement Goju-ryu as a system of KZR (closed hands kata) - heishu, concentration inside the organism and KOR (open hands kata) - kaishu, concentration outside of the organism. Methods. The group consisted of Karate Dojo Pivovarník karateka from Hanušovce nad Topľou (n=7, 6 men and 1 woman), all of them are holders of at least 1. Dan master grade, who are able to work in dual focus. We have compared the training unit performed by system of KZR (closed hands kata) with training unit KOR (open hands kata) while respecting relatively identical conditions. We have also monitored physiological, somatic, biochemical values, probands filled out an questionnaire, an consent with the experiment and absolved an personality test. The data we obtained were processed by statistical programs MS Excel, SPSS Statistics, biochemical values were obtained in laboratory Synlab Slovakia s.r.o, Prešov laboratory and the data were calculated by Dorste, Planta (1992). To determine the significance of differences at entrances and exits KZR-KOR we used the Mann-Whitney nonparametric U – test, to determine the significance of action of stimulus in KZR and KOR we used Wilcoxon nonparametric test to determine the statistical significance of the difference of input and output at levels 1 and 5%. The Results. By hypothesis we assumed, that the dual concentration will not cause any significant statistical changes from training units and that it will not be possible to totally identify them based on obtained data, and therefore to obtain any possible prediction data by that. Because this is a pilot project, were monitored selected data, which may have had certain relevance, in this case for possible diagnosis in sport. The hypothesis was not confirmed, and it was found out that some of the collected data such as acid-base balance point to the possibility of simple prediction. Statistical significance was confirmed at the level p0,01 respectively p0,05. Summary. The results point to the possibility of simple prediction of training (performance, intensity and so on). This pilot project showed the correctness of the experiment, however it does not allow the results to be generalized for relatively small set of research, but it points out the high potential and possible future objectification
