    AnnotationThe performance, its measurement and management have been fields of interest of the researchers for long time. Based on the secondary data, the paper theoretically analyses the performance measurement and management with the emphasis on the performance indicators. A model of strategic and operational performance management has been designed in order to systemise the measurement and management of the performance in an enterprise at both (strategic and operational) levels. The analysis, synthesis, comparison, and generalization have been used so that to create first draft of performance model, which will be used for further research and testing, among the companies in a specific industry (or industries).
