    AnnotationThe paper contains arguments to clarify the relationship of Roma people in the Slovak Republic to education. This knowledge is specified to pre-primary education. It presents the views of Roma parents of preschool children on education, the importance of preschool preparation in kindergarten, as well as the views and opinions of experts dealing with the education of Roma children in kindergartens and in non-formal education. It briefly describes the determinants that influence, shape and transform the Roma minority's relationship to education.
