Presented partial research confirms the close nature of this relationship, as well as the universal nature of phraseology/idiomatology. From the aspect of terminology, which is the base point of the research, there is a suppositious paradox between the accuracy of a term and the vagueness of a metaphor. In reality their conjunction allows effective functioning of phraseology/idiomatology in professional language, with regard to its contextual dependency. In the examined economic texts there appear mostly variants of phrasemes/idioms, while metaphors are mostly represented by the orientation and ontological ones.
