    AnnotationThe aim of this article is to provide the reader with very specific customs in national cuisines, especially Afghan and Iranian. The food is an essential part of the Muslim culture. As novels from exotic environments have appeared on our book market, it is necessary to think of possible translatological solutions of so-called culture-motivated expressions. We have chosen two novels for our analysis. Both novels are originally written in English and set in the Muslim countries
