Descr. príspevky v zborníku - proceedings papers Language English Country United States of America Annotation Blended learning is a formal education program in which a student learns at least in part through online delivery of content and instruction with some element of student control over time, place, path, and/or pace and at least in part at a supervised brick-and-mortar location away from home (see [1]). In this paper we present an example of use of blended learning education for the university courses, specifically for the Fuzzy sets courses. These courses are taught on Matej Bel University, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Department of Computer Science. The presented example is being used in the teaching of external students. Since this period is affected by the COVID-19 disease it is useful to be prepared for teaching all of the students with the use of these methods. A need of the use of the teaching methods that support an independent student work as well as active learning approaches has been reflected also in the Slovak state educational program at various educational levels. Experiences of teachers who have used inquiry-based approaches in the classrooms are often in the contrary with expectations of these didactical trends. The paper aims to compare the theory and the practice of the implementation of inquiry-based activities in physics teaching. Practical experience was gained implementing activities for science education developed within the Chain Reaction project running at Matej Bel University Banska Bystrica. Cyberbullying often impacts the learning and school environment by negative way. This paper shows the teacher´s need for additional education in area of cyberbullying. Is quite common that this type of aggression accrues in school and its frequency is still raising. Findings of research in this paper presents that teachers see cyberbullying as problem in school, often teachers report having experienced some kind of cyberbullying but they don’t feel confident to deal with cyberbullying.
