The authors deal with the issue of a training effect on the example of selected speed-strength athletic disciplines: high jump, short-distance runs and long jump. Immediate, delayed and cumulative training effect is evaluated according to the changes in indicators of reflective explosiveness. The authors evaluated the reflective explosiveness according to repetitive jumps on the jump ergometer. The top performance athletes competing in junior and woman’s category were monitored. The immediate and delayed effect showed through a different response to individual types of loads. Different intraindividual and interindividual response to a completed training load was found out. The cumulative training effect showed through the wave course with increasing monitored parameters at the time of the most important competitions.
