AnnotationFire safety design of precast industrial buildings, nowadays, became а very important issue due to increasing frequency of this type of construction. A large number of these buildings are designed to meet both storage and sales function (shopping centers, big specialized stores ...) which is often followed by high fire load. This paper represents an analysis of consequences of fire occurred in May 2013. at ―Uradi Sam‖ business facility, Novi Sad. During the fire, the following were completely damaged: parts of the interior, wirings, roof covering, facade coverings, as well as the entire supporting roof structure, while reinforced concrete columns and facade beams suffered major damages. The aim of this paper is to emphasize vulnerability of this type of building regarding building materialization and construction-system fire performances, as well as the need for apply adequate preventive fire protection measures
