At the beginning, mobile phones were used mainly for communication between users. In 2007, one of the first smartphones iPhone from Apple Inc., appeared on the market, since that the functionality of mobile phones started to change sequentially. Today, primary function of the mobile phone is still the same communication between people, but users use their mobile phones also for browsing on the websites, for playing games, etc. In some schools the teachers using mobile devices such as tablets and phones during the teaching process. Currently there is problem with not enough type of applications, which could be used in teaching. In this article, we focus on creating a mobile mathematical application for practicing the topic of Pythagorean theorem. The created application "Pythagorean theorem" is free and it is possible to download it directly onto mobile device by means "Google Play Store".
