AnnotationThe present study was conducted on senior female volunteers (32 women in Experimental Sample, 29 women in Control Sample) to evaluate the impact of yoga techniques on overweight control and positive effect on fat reducing.Yoga program was taught for 4 month in experimental group. Significant reduction of overweight was observed in ES of senior women at the end of program. A significant difference was also found in reduce of under skin fat. The decomposition of inner fat through ultrasonic detection of abdomen organs was seen only in the ES women at the end of program too. The significant results indicate that yoga techniques in form of daily training can be helpful in clients with overweight, esp. with obesity syndrome disorders as coronary artery disease, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia etc.

AnnotationThis study goals to clarify the relationship of extremely evening-typed Japanese students to the extraverted-introverted characteristics. In Japan, 24 hours society is rapidly advancing, and it is increasing environmental pressure on children, such as mobile phones, convenience store opened for 24 hours, and midnight broadcasting program. These environmental factors seem to become significant Zeitgebers to make Japanese children and students shifted to evening-type. Several papers have been published on the relationship of extraverted-introverted characteristics to the circadian typology (Morningness-Eveningness preference). The problem which should be solved in this study is whether the new relationship of extraverted-introverted characteristic and circadian typology appears in the 24h commercialization society in Japan
