It presents an overview of the research studies that have been accomplished in the area of the moral life of children so far. It focuses on the youngest generation of children, specifically on children at the age of starting their compulsory education. The study starts by describing the group of research methods that have been used in investigating younger children and that can be considered to be potential tools in our research. What follows are a number of examples of contemporary research presented to contribute to understanding the main features of the current generation of children (GenZ) and especially some of their moral features.
