AnnotationIntroduction: Measuring ankle joint mobility in a closed kinematic chain is important from a des junctional perspective. Dorsiflexion in the ankle joint occurs naturally in many lower limb roles associated with locomotion. Dorsiflexion in the ankle joint is essential for walking. Restriction of movement in the ankle joint leads to a greater Die Dorsal generation of forces in pronation and supination acting in the ankle joint. Restriction of movement in the ankle joint leads to an increased risk of individual injuries. Restriction of movement in the ankle joint leads to an alternation of movement when walking. People with restricted movement in the ankle tend to have shorter phase on gait cycle. Dorsiflexion occurs in a closed kinematic chain while walking. The optimal range of movement in the ankle joint in sport plays an important role. Measurement of the range of motion in the ankle joint can be performed in both open and closed kinematic chains. Method: Search for randomized and nonrandomized studies in Pubmed, Medline, Scopus databases. Search keywords: Weight bearing lunge test, range of motion, injury Results: Weight bearing lunge test in a closed kinematic chain has an important role in rehabilitation. Reduced range of movement towards dorsiflexion is a common manifestation of various conditions such as ankle sprain, chronic ankle instability, or ankle fracture. Restriction of movement in the ankle joint is also associated with potential injury due to the Achilles tendon. Restriction of ankle joint mobility can also contribute negatively to the overloaded arch of the foot. Measurement mobility of the ankle joint under load in preventing anterior cruciate ligament injury also plays an important role. Proper mobility also contributes to optimal patellar tendon function. Conclusion: Weight bearing lunge test in axial load in closed kinematic chain represents a potential examination in rehabilitation and prevention

Annotation© 2020, Liečreh s.r.o. All rights reserved. Basis: Pathogen causing COVID-19 is the new coronavirus that was identified at the end of January 2020. Studies are mostly limited to hospitalized patients with pneumonia in majority of described symptoms. Incubation period is estimated 4 days (but it can vary from 2 to 14 days). Symptoms: Among most common symptoms in patients admitted to hospital belong fever, cough, myalgia, fatigue and dyspnoea. The course of fever in patient with COVID-19 is not completely unambiguous. Symptoms may variously vary and can be seen from asymptomatic to mild and severe. COVID-19 infection can be also asymptomatic Methods: Respiratory rehabilitation is based on complex assessment of patients health state, various individualized techniques focused on complication prevention that might cause or worsen respiratory symptoms. Conclusion: Respiratory rehabilitation includes general exercises focused on condition improvement. Exercises to strengthen inspiration muscles play important role. Respiratory rehabilitation is also focused on cough training, removing of secretion from airways. Respiratory rehabilitation includes also psychological component associated with patient education.

Annotation© 2020, Liečreh s.r.o. All rights reserved. Background: With the frequency of using certain motion patterns, the quality of their execution also increases. The abilities involved in the quality of the intended movement are gnostic functions. Gnostic functions are important in sport rehabilitation. Aims: The aim of our study is to determine the quality of gnostic functions in top racewalker compared to the general population. Ninety two respondents aged 15 through 40 were tested in two groups. The first group consisted of 8 active and 4 former top race walkers from the Military Sports Center Dukla Banska Bystrica aged 15 to 40 (age average 25.92 ± 9.11). The second group consisted of 80 respondents from the general population aged 15 to 40 (age average 22.18 ± 7.67). Both groups underwent testing of gnostic functions. Testing consisted of two step assessments, one somatognosia test, kinesthesia test, and stereognosis test. Result: The results of our testing showed that race walkers achieved on average better results in tests for gnostic functions of the lower limbs. In assessment focused on multisensory top halfbody integration, group results were very similar. A statistically significant difference occurred only in the step 2 test, 10 repeats, the dominant leg (p = 0.05). Other test results were statistically insignificant. The increase in correlation between values within the first group showed that the respondents’ worsening of the results in the Petrie test was associated with more frequent injuries. Conclusion: The average results of our testing suggest that the quality of gnostic functions, along with the accumulation of race walking training load in top race walkers, is higher compared to general population and its training can play an important role in the prevention and treatment of locomotor system.
