    AnnotationThe Canadians of the British origin, who are in the territory of Canada the biggest ethnic group, represent more than one third of the population. The Canadians of the French origin from about one fourth of all inhabitants and more than 81 % inhabitants of province Quebec, in which the French language and culture are saved and supported by the law. The rest of population is created by descendents of emigrants from Europe, mainly from Germany, Italy and Ukraine. The original inhabitants of Canada – the Indians and the Inuits represent only 1.5 % of the Canadian population in these days. In this paper we focused on the analysis of the language and national structure of Canada and on the influence of both structures on the social-political development Res. angl.
