    AnnotationMultiple-choice questions (MCQs) are frequently authored by instructors and used for summative assessment in large classes. However, MCQs can also provide excellent opportunities for learning, especially if students author the questions and explain their answers, and if they are provided with immediate corrective feedback when answering the questions. The PeerWise tool is an online platform that enables students to cooperatively generate a large bank of MCQs, which the entire class can curate and use for drill-and-practice style review. Although PeerWise is in wide use internationally at the tertiary level, we present here our experience of the use of PeerWise in Slovakia, in subjects in which the language of instruction is not English
