    AnnotationIn the following article an unbalanced theology of work is recognized as potentially jeopardizing a correct perception of our identity as workers and leading to problems in personal relationships in the workplace specifically. Against a background of philosophical and some popular contemporary views of work, the author points out the dimensions of work highlighted in the Bible. The article also shows how the biblical concept of work can become a caricature if one text is overemphasized at the expense of other balancing passages.

    AnnotationPráca sa zaoberá pojmom "motivácia" v rôznych odvetviach ľudských činností. The research was focused on the comprehensive understanding of motivation factors that affected empoyee job satisfaction in furniture manufacturing companies in the Slovak Republic in 2015. Questionnaire analysis was selected as the key research method. Questionnaires consisted of 36 most motivating factors organized into 5 sub-cathegories, analyzed on the basis of the degree of satisfaction for respondents. Based on the collected data, top 10 motivation factors, which the employees of Slovak furniture manufacturing companies rated as the most satisfying, were identified. According to respondents, 3 most satisfying factors included physical work demands, "interestingness" of work and the ability to use the qualification. Research outcomes resulted in a series of recommendations for the furniture manufacturing companies to focus on in order to boost employee job satisfaction with regards to the fact that only we

    AnnotationPríspevok podáva náčrt rozsiahlej problematiky hodnoty ľudskej práce z pohľadu oficiálneho učenia Katolíckej cirkvi. O problematike ľudskej práce a jej hodnote učia najmä pápeži – najvyšší zákonodarcovia Cirkvi a tiež dokument II. Vatikánskeho koncilu Gaudium et Spes. Zdôrazňujú ľudskú dôstojnosť, hodnotu slobody a hodnotu práce pre budovanie spoločných 40 dobier v prospech celému ľudstvu. Učenie Cirkvi je postavené na hodnote samotného človeka a jeho aktivitách, ktoré majú byť nasmerované k spoločnému cieľu - dobru ľudstva. Je právom a povinnosťou každého občana pričiniť sa o pokrok vlastnej spoločnosti a odstraňovať hospodárske rozdiely vo svete. Štát má byť v tomto nápomocný. Práca je najpodstatnejším kľúčom k celej sociálnej otázke. Podmieňuje ekonomický rozvoj, kultúrny a morálny rozvoj, rodiny, spoločnosti a celý ľudský rod. Sociálna náuka Cirkvi sa riadi zásadou, že práca má vnútorné prvenstvo nad kapitálom, lebo jej pôvodcom je človek. Pápeži zhodne zdôrazňujú aspekt ľudskej dôstojnosti pri človekovi ako pôvodcovi a účinnej príčine ľudskej práce./ This report is providing a sketch of the wider problematic of the dignity of human work in the light of the official teaching of the Catholic Church. The topic of dignity of human labour is present in the teachings of Popes – the highest legal authority of the Church and also in the document of II. Vatican council Gaudium et Spes. It emphasize human dignity, value of freedom and value of the work for the building of common goods of benefit to humanity. The Church's teaching is based on the value of man himself and his actions to be directed towards a common goal - the good of mankind. It is the right and duty of every citizen to work towards the advancement of their own and eliminate economic disparities in the world. The state has to be to this helpful. The work is essential key to the whole social question. Makes economic development, cultural and moral development, family, society and the entire human race. Church's social doctrine is guided by the principle that the work has internal primacy over capital, because it is the origin of man. Popes consistently emphasize the aspect of human dignity in man as originator and effective cause of human work.
