AnnotationThe objective of this study is to enhance students’ interpersonal competencies during translation training, recognizing that translators need to possess specific interpersonal skills that align with the demands of the labor market, translation market, and employers. Therefore, the study focuses on investigating various interpersonal skills such as communication, presentation skills, teamwork, stress management, time management, conflict management, flexibility, responsibility, self-motivation, and assertiveness. To begin, the study examines the impact of new technologies, globalization, and employer requirements on the labor market and translation industry. It also discusses the educational implications of these changes and the role of academia in addressing them. Subsequently, by understanding the current needs of employers, a practical model for developing interpersonal competencies in the acquisition of translation competence is formulated. This model integrates the development of both translation competence and interpersonal skills. As a result, it is envisioned as an integral part of a specialized translation program that aims to enhance translation competence and interpersonal competencies, ultimately positioning individuals more favorably in the labor market.

AnnotationManagement functions were developed first as a systematic step to carry out management activities, while implementation of the information components followed as part of management elements. The authors point out that the use of the possibilities and advantages of quantitatively supported managerial decisions gives managers the ability to quantify the impacts of both technical (hard) and subjective (soft)constraints and improve managerial decision-making processes that would otherwise be based mostly on personal intuition and experience. To achieve the goals and benefits of excellent performance, it is necessary to design and develop integrated models that would coordinate management functions and information system components as an integrated process. These facts are presented in various case studies

AnnotationThe development of all dimensions of digitization, in particular the global Internet penetration into most business areas, creates a better condition for sharing technology. Start-up and spin-off companies, supported by university centres, directly support the transfer of the latest technology into practice. Using the model of economic management, the effectiveness of such economics will be researched. Practices and recommendations that should eliminate barriers to successful spin-offs and start-ups as well as SMEs doing business in competitive area will also be proposed. The assessment of the views of 189 managers of Slovak SMEs and 26 managers of IT companies creates the opportunity to assess the extent to which companies want to apply innovation opportunities and IT potential in practice as a driver of changes. These results will be compared with the results of similar research in the EU. The verification of the mutual dependencies of selected indicators using statistical methods and validation tools that are part of the SPSS program will be provided. Based on the synthesis of all knowledge and experience, it will be suggested to managers the ways how to apply technology transfer and regulatory treatment of sharing economy in practice as effeectlyiv as possible
