    AnotáciaThe article focuses on the corporate social investment mostly defined as a partial concept of corporate social responsibility. This type of investment represents a necessary part of the investment activities for each company. On the other hand, it can be recognized through non-financial benefits and advantages not only for the company but also for the company stakeholders. Corporate social investment can be designed for internal and external company environment. This article deals with the theoretical approach of domestic and foreign authors and their perception of this term. Moreover, it presents a partial results of the primary research carried out on the sample of Slovak companies with the aim of investigation of corporate social investment types preferred by these companies.
