Anotácia	Information and communication technologies have important role in many different innovations and further positively affect the productivity and economic growth. Our aim was to examine examine the share of ICT sector in selected European countries and identify its potential determinants and consequences. We used mostly panel data for EU28 countries plus Norway and Switzerland and applied correlation and panel Granger causality tests. The employment in ICT was used as main examined variable. Our results suggest that there is a positive correlation between ICT skills as well as the share of people with ICT education and employment in ICT. The causal effect seems to be working in direction from education to employment. Moreover, variables capturing GDP per capita, trade openness, R&D expenditure, number of internet users, quality of regulation and political stability appear to be all positively correlated with employment in ICT and especially with employment in ICT services.

Anotácia	The aim of the article is to study and analyze the peculiarities of formation of critical thinking among Ukrainian students in the context of European integration. It has been proven that one of the main problems in developing critical thinking skills is creating appropriate pedagogical conditions. It is noted that educators should adhere to the principles of critical saturation of educational information and critical correctness. Theanalysis of the state of the problem of developing critical thinking skills among university students allows us to state that despite the existence of a significant number of scientific publications on the topic, there are several unresolved issues regarding the development of critical thinking skills, including its signs, criteria, indicators, and levels of development, diagnostic tools, a qualitative adaptation of Western technologies to the domestic education system, and the development of optimal and effective technologies for developing critical thinking skills.

Anotácia	The research examines theoretical and methodological approaches to the development of intercultural competence among higher education students, and how it varies due to changes in the digital environment. Attention is given to interactive methods for improving intercultural competence as a source of everyday and professional discourse formation, and enhancing communication skills among students. The k ey principles for stimulating the development and use of technologies in building intercultural competence in higher education institutions' practices are highlighted. The study's findings can be beneficial for future professionals and can be applied in universities' practices when organizing the educational process or educational programs aimed at training future specialists.
