    AnotáciaProvision of digital services to their customers was possible only within territory of each EU Member State. The Digital Single Market will remove such barriers and it will contribute to the expansion of the digital world and employment growth. Part of the Digital Single Market is to ensure a free movement of persons, services and capital. Individuals as well as companies can easily exercise online activities under conditions of fair competition and a high level of data protection, irrespective of their location. On one hand, Digital Single Market brings a lot of benefits, such as easier access to online services across Europe and support of the European digital economy growth. On the other hand, it represents a new form of cyber vulnerabilities that can negatively affect the whole European Community. The main aim of the article is to define the positives and negatives associated with the creation of the Digital Single Market of the European Union.
