Anotácia	This study is based on Casasanto’s Bodyspecificity hypothesis and especially on his paper (with Jasmin) on speech and gesture, in which the authors provided evidence that spontaneous dominant-hand gestures were more strongly associated with speech about good things, and non-dominant-hand with speech about bad things. Nevertheless, the premise that gestures could follow political party lines was rejected. The hypothesis of my research is that European political affiliations are much stronger spatialized along the left-right axis than the American ones.
