    $a © 2019 IEEE. This work focuses on possibilities of practical using public cloud in comparison with high-performance cluster for difficult calculations. A task dealing with problem of coloring the edges of a large set of cubic graphs and examining relations between these graphs was used as a criterion. In general, we dealt with couple of modifications and levels of difficulty of a given task. Assessing the convenience of usage nowadays, not only computer resources, is significant factor and phenomenon an environmental friendliness. In the world of informational technology and in the field of high-performance computing, is established the idea of green computing. Algorithms for effective usage of available computing resources are used to reach the aim within the high-performance computing that is hidden under the green computing. In the connection with service providers of public cloud computing is solving of securing datacenter power from renewable sources an added factor.
