Historická imaginácia vo vybraných anglosaských reflexiách histórie = Historical imaginational in selected anglo-saxon reflections of history / Juraj Šuch. -- Historical imaginational in selected anglo-saxon reflections of history. The author of the article introduces R. G. Collingwood’s understanding of the role of historical imagination, which is related to the synthesis and presumption of available historical data. He also presents his view of historical imagination in the work of G. Elton who represents a traditional understanding of history. The author pays attention to the role of historical imagination in the tropological theory of H. White. He takes a critical view of the anti-representative constructivism of Jouni-Matti Kuukkanen who suggests an understanding of historical work as an argumentation for or against a certain historiographical thesis.
