O výslovnostnom úze niektorých zamestnancov elektronických médií = About Pronounciation Custom of Some Employees of Electronic Media / Vladimír Patráš. -- There were objectively discovered symptoms within a degree of sharpness of affricates and fricatives while pronouncing consonants Š – Ž – Č (hypothetically DŽ, too) among some Slovak announcers. This was the direct impulsion to work on the study. The aim of the paper is to show consequences of pronunciation of sibilants on an axis speaking defect – mistake – tolerable difference. The author’s thoughts runs into a sociolinguistic attitude in connection with a question: What kind of manager and personnel methods do Slovak media companies use to choose mediators and to make an edition team more and more professional so as to participate on the goodwill of media, editors and/or whole media institution? In the depth of the paper lies a language dimension of contemporary condition and perspectives of speaking culture in domestic electronic media.
