М. Ljašuk, К. G. Ljašuk. -- The article examines the cognitive image constructed when linguistic personalities reflect their constant or temporary connection with a certain region. The aim is to identify semantic nodes and ways of interpreting regional characteristics as a component of text formation in scientific, educational and / or emotional reflection. The relevance of the topic is determined by the interdisciplinarity and anthropocentricity of modern scientific paradigm of linguistics and translation. The authors explore the aim by analysing written Russian language texts that exhibit potential for reflection (scientific typology, culturally oriented translation studies, scientific journalism, essay writing). The linguistic personalities of a scientist, a journalist, a writer, a teacher and a student in terms of reflective text formation are embodied in the method and evaluation of the regional component when included in connection with the concepts of the national, the state, the global with varying degrees of explicitness.
