The wood-decaying polypore Fomes fomentarius, its origin and the present time = Drevorozkladajúci trúdnik Fomes fomentarius, jeho opis a súčasný stav / Ján Gáper, Kateřina Náplavová, Svetlana Gáperová. -- Fomes fomentarius je v zásade boreálnym morfologickým druhom, pôvodcom bieleho tlenia. Je rozšírený v Severnej Amerike, Afrike (Alžírsko, Maroko), v Ázii a v Európe. V súčasnosti zahŕňa 3 ITS línie/sublínie. Sublíniu A1 tvoria izoláty zo Severnej Ameriky, zatiaľ čo sublíniu A2 tvoria iba európske izoláty. Líniu B tvoria európske a ázijské izoláty. /Fomes fomentarius is essentially a boreal morphological species causing white rot. It is distributed in North America, Africa (Algeria, Morocco), Asia, and over whole Europe. Recently, there are three ITS lineages/sublineages. Sublineage A1 consists of strains isolated from North America, whereas sublineage A2 consists of strains only from Europe. Lineage B comprises strains from Europe and Asia.
