$a Labour turnover is a cost intensive factor of the Slovak hospitality industry, as quality and service is delivered mostly by staff. High levels of turnover not only produce additional costs, but mostly result into low quality of services provided. The aim of this article is to evaluate recently published statistics on labour requirements on Slovak hotel market and to suggest basic direct and indirect costs of labour turnover in Slovak hotels. 463 -1
