Mesík, Patrik, 1987- Dopady hospodárskej krízy na úroveň zamestnanosti v BBSK = Impacts of economic crisis on employment level in BBSK / Patrik Mesík. -- The contribution is focused on issues of employment and unemployment in the regional labor market, to which is added the phenomenon of problems, such as the economic crisis. In this contribution we analyze both problems, because of very close relation between them and simultaneous following of each other. The object of the analytical part of this contribution is to evaluate the impact of the economic crisis on employment level in the region of Banská Bystrica in the range of years 2008 to 2011. We emphasize changes in the number of employees in consequences of crisis and we pay attention to measures, which adoption in the organization is inevitable, when we want to avoid consequences of economic crisis. Moreover, we consider the main causes of layoffs and how the economic crisis involved staff reduction. Based on the research results we formulate in the end of the article possible recommendations how to solve this problem in practice.
