Liga, Ján, 1981- Modelovanie zmien krajinnej štruktúry Plešivskej planiny = Modelling landscape structure changes of Plešivská planina / Ján Liga, Tomáš Lepeška. -- The article present results of land cover modelling using Dinamica EGO software in model territory of Plešivská planina located in the National Park Biosphere Reserve Slovak Karst. 5 land cover categories were used for modelling purposes to show the trajectories of landscape evolution and its future state. Dinamica EGO modelling tool had been used to project the future changes in the selected BR territory based upon a 53 year long period (1950-2003). Predicted land cover was calculated upon the raster data cube containing data about geology, pedology and terrain (DMR). The most significant change was the reforestation of previously extensively used grasslands and agricultural areas coupled with landscape conversion of semiforest and shrub areas to forests and further secondary succession of shrubs on recently unused grassland areas
