Skice k problémom školskej jazykovej výchovy v synchrónii a diachrónii = Sketches of the problems with school language education / Július Lomenčík. -- Using brief and fundamental sketches, the article points out the key problems with language education in schools based on a brief historical research through the one hundred years during which the standard Slovak language has been taught. Much attention is paid to the repetition of mistakes concerning presenting basic language norms mainly in orthography and syntax, stressing the functionality of all varieties of the national language as taught in schools. The paper specifically lays emphasis on the search for new methods which will allow teachers to present the standard Slovak language appropriately, making use of spontaneous speech acts on the part of pupils
