In the text, the author deals primarily with the breakup of the great dramatic character as the dominant element in the structure of the dramatic text, its transformation from the hero to the everyday rogue. This transformation is related to the absence of a large dramatic arc, the absence of great conflict and the need for action, as well as the expansion of thematic and ideological targeting towards the distant (dark, low) face of man. In addition to the influences of both domestic and European absurd theatre and postmodernist tendencies, the West European drama of brutality or in-yer-face theatre influences contemporary Slovak drama. The drama of brutality, in reality, enabled the authors in Slovakia to enter the taboo areas of life with the destruction of the idea of a man in the drama as an exceptional hero with a focus on a positive life orientation.
