AnotáciaEmployee motivation and corporate culture represent an essential part of human resources management. A higher effort is invested into achieving organizational goals by employees, who are motivated. Employees do not need to leave the company, if they are identified with a corporate culture, in terms of remuneration and the work environment. The aim of the article was to define the impact of employee motivation on the level of corporate culture. Using descriptive statistics, the level of motivation was defined in a medium-sized enterprise operating in Slovakia in the wood-processing industry in the area of furniture production. Motivational-oriented groups of employees were identified using cluster analysis. In the following step, the dependence between the identified groups and the level of the corporate culture was tested. Based on the research results, at the significance level of a = 0.05, we can conclude that statistically significant differences in employee motivation do not have the impact on of corporate culture

AnotáciaAdhesives are in wood and furniture industry important auxiliary material that contributes greatly not only to the improvement of product quality, but at the same time adhesives are also the basis for the development of new wooden products. The benefits of using foamed adhesives have technological and economic aspects, which in the article we try to validate through the test of delamination of bonded joints according to the methodology of Institut für Fenstertechnik, IFT Rosenheim (Germany). In the article we try to describe the economics aspects of such modified process and we try to find the proposal for refinancing of initial investment associated with such process innovation from external sources.
