Slovensko Jazyk dok. slovenčina Krajina Slovenská republika Systematika 502 Anotácia Abandoned and wastelands are the most expressive form of devastation of surface in the landscape.To their origin is contributing above all destructive action of man from times of Walachian colonization (deforestation, grazing, forest fire, unsuitable ploughing) and erosive processes but also modern industry (magnesite works, lime works, cement works, heaps etc.) – brownfields. The author focuses landscapeecological analysis of these lands in relation to some indicators. In the middle 20th century waste lands were occurred on area 220 000 ha, what is probably an unreal large area. Most of the lands was afforested. Mostly wastelands were occurred on the flysh rocks (27 %), but abundant are also on the carbonate rocks (17 %), on the volcanic rocks (12 %), furthermore on the loess and loess loam (16 % )and on the crystalline rocks (15 %) Kategória publikačnej činnosti ADF Číslo archívnej kópie 15979 Katal.org. There were identified and characterizied following types: forest, a thin forest, stripped vegetation and fragmental occurrence of vegetation.
